Vell, tomato eet eesh mah burfday. Ah am finally a teenager, hooray! It’s kinda annoying being the youngest girl in the class, when your friends (well, your friend called Jessica Chen at least) says to you on frequent occasions, “Aww, poor little 12-year-old Lia…” So yah. Birthdays always seem to be a big deal for me, because a birthday is a day when your parents do speshul stuff like give you pressies and buy you slurpees at 8 o’clock at night. I know, I know, I’m materialistic and all but...shaddup.
Yesterday it was my grandmother and grandfather’s name day (both on my mum’s side), because it was the Virgin Mary’s dormition or something like that. And because the Greek called her Panagia or Maria and my grandma’s name is Maria and my granddad’s Panagioti (I call him Pitta though…as in Peter, not pita bread…) it’s their name day. Useless information, but I felt like putting it there.
Anyvay, vee vent zere and ate food and I went because my cousin Nicolette and her mummeh and her adorable younger brother Leon were going to be there…and also because I wanted to wish my grandparents happy nameday. So yah. I had fun, but then I had to leave because of that stoopid French project. Gah, French blows. I can’t find anything on Haut-Normandie (Upper Normandy). Screwballs.
On another happy note, I made up with Miki today. I had been meaning to apologise for a while now, especially since I spoke with Kahli at Galactic Circus two weeks ago, and wanted to say sorry in person but I’m just wayyyy too chicken. And ashamed. So I apologised over MSN. Not the best, but I hope it’s good enough. Yessums.
I am currently obsessed with Maria-sama ga Miteru (especially Sei! Ah, Sei…she’s soooo cool) and Elfen Lied (again)! Check out the trailer to behold its coolness. It may not be exactly your thing, though, if you hate blood and violence…^.^ But the storyline is good, and Lucy is AWESOME!…though most of the other characters piss me off. But Lucy’s cool enough to make the whole series worth watching.
I’ll shut up now, I know how much people hate it when I speak about anime, so um…yeah. *shuts up*
